HT&C Mutual Insurance Company launches name change to AXIOM Mutual Insurance Company

ZURICH/STRATHROY, ON, SEPTEMBER 1, 2022 /insPRESS/ – HT&C Mutual Insurance Company, serving Huron, Middlesex, Perth, Lambton and Elgin counties, announces its name change to AXIOM Mutual Insurance Company effective September 1, 2022.

Deeply rooted in the communities they serve; HT&C Mutual Insurance Company was launched in January 2021 as a merger between Hay Mutual Insurance Company and Town & Country Mutual Insurance Company. Time consuming and well thought out since the merger, the name change illustrates their mission to provide members with peace of mind, being properly insured.

“AXIOM Mutual Insurance is a name that represents truth and strength. It takes the strength of both companies and gives us a chance to use this strong history with ingrained community involvement moving forward. It also allows us to continue to evolve in ways members already know while meeting market demands,” Lee-Ann Vansteenkiste, Director of Business Development and Marketing, AXIOM Mutual Insurance.

Looking to the future of AXIOM Mutual, it is imperative that the company supports and maintains healthy and vibrant communities. Social responsibility and the provision of leading and competitive insurance options and support are of the utmost importance to members of AXIOM Mutual.

“Community is embedded in our culture and that’s why we’re here. We hear about the 100 mile plan, we are the insurance version of it. We support our communities in so many ways, through fundraising, using local body shops, local adjusters, hiring local employees among so many other ways. It will take on even greater momentum as AXIOM mutual insurance,” said Shawn Durnin, CEO of Axiom Mutual.

AXIOM Mutual Insurance is 100% Canadian, member owned and member driven. They support its members by providing local insurance solutions for businesses, farms, homes and automobiles.
