Clyde & Co rehires insurance attorney Stacey Rufe as a partner in Washington DC : Clyde & Co

Stacey is an experienced insurance coverage attorney with a particular focus on complex, high-exposure financial line matters, including D&Os, private equity and professional liability. She has over 15 years of experience as an attorney representing insurance companies in coverage and litigation. Clients have included AXA XL, Tokio Marine HCC and CNA.

Stacey was previously Senior Counsel at Clyde & Co and one of the founders when the Washington D.C. office opened in 2017. Stacey joins Clyde & Co from CNA Insurance, where she was Senior Litigation Counsel in the Corporate Legal Group. complaints.

At CNA, Stacey’s role included providing coverage advice to claims professionals in the specialty lines, resolving claims and assisting in mediations, and working with internal and external attorneys on coverage disputes. In addition to public and private D&O cases, Stacey has also provided coverage advice regarding Errors and Admissions (E&O) financial lines, private equity, employment practices liability, professional lines (E&O lawyers and accountants ) and cyber, technology and media policies.
